We specialize in manual Leica images of utterly spontaneous reality.

Chemical or digital, Evanescent Images will take you to the next dimension

in advertising, portraiture, special requests, or Fine Art.

We deliver sublime views of the fantastic or ordinary for clients

who've learned they require nothing less than honesty, unbridled creativity

and perfection.  Our philosophy is what photographers seek in life.

When you grasp one precious moment, everything changes.

Evanescent enjoys worldwide publication, spanning five continents

of every genre imaginable.  In forty-one years of carefully perceiving the world

we’ve learned to carefully gather details others miss, caressing them to forms future generations will ponder.
We operate by experience and intuition.  Our visions

are not expendable, like modern things, with no love

or consequence in them.

Founder Brock Hanson developed his first roll of film at age eleven,

in a makeshift darkroom under his parent’s basement stairs.  His fascination with philosophy,

documentaries and abstraction has carried him over the planet five times, in search of

the magic in the mundane, and the sublime beneath the sensational.

Evanescent offers training in analog perception,

Digital Video, and other alternative processes.
