STATES RIGHTS

You have the right to do what the Federal Government tells you to.

This is your privilege, as well as the lowest rung of law.

You have a theoretical right of dissent

and your theory is duly recorded, wherever interest conflicts reason

as entire reason states band together, to repulse foreign threat.

You have the right to pick up the horribly expensive slack

where Federal Gov dictates its free-money whims

to people addicted to ease.

You have the right to inherit the welfare state

that's really more of a country.

Your Federal Government has unalienable force in matters

you'd wish to stay still on.

The government has reason to repulse your attempts to change it for a better.

It will give you problems any time it wishes.

Once discovered what mess its forced-obligation created,

you have the right to bail it out.

We will work with this---

hasn't a shadow of your doubt inside,

there's nothing useful to work with

in shambles of public policy bounce-back

whack with firm, unflinching, hand.

States still

work with the rest of the rules---

ones caused massive wreckage in

fissures of work-for-living harmony

that begot the mosque,

States are duly forced

to pray at.

Who says separation of church and state's

alive and well?

Big brother lives, tasking most ego-monetary errands

to those whatever they are

stars

on blood-red stripes.

Is a far-fetched scheme of dreamers

seeing through "freedom" facade

of States getting interest in ?

Or not?
