Proteus is only the beginning of what will certainly be a far larger picture.
In a visit to the company, I saw a number of prototypes of devices that could
only be called revolutionary. There are wireless 3-D glasses with
independent drivers for each eyepiece running an approximation of six channel
surround sound, being linked to an undated version of [ ] with 2
to six channels of biofeedback control, which will let you concentrate on any
number of body functions, to manipulate the color, shape, and time-space of
three dimensional rotation of various objects being studied to create different
forms of cross-connective brain activity, or relaxation states. There
is also research being implemented to refine through biofeedback, the individual
bio-mechanism which promotes entry into hypnogogic, or lucid dreaming.
Simplified one-channel versions of these machines will become interactive with
the Proteus, which will drive soon to be offered three channel glasses, which
will generate tens of thousands of colors in various shades of intensity, vs.
the current two Red-Green (and optional Red-Blue) goggles which currently generate
256 shades.] This will include computer software which will enable more
complex importing, exporting and encoding of input and output light-sound data.
User profiles, for personal or medical research, will be constantly generated
and updated by sets of variables the individual user or researcher will employ.
